Nick Jonas Says Gabrielle Giguere Has 'A Clear Vision'
Jonas produced the song 'My Time' for the 14-year-old Quaker Chewy Superstar Search winner.
By Jocelyn Vena
Back in June, Nick Jonas told MTV News he was looking for the next Willow Smith or Greyson Chance when he teamed up with Quaker Chewy Superstar Search. Well, now he's found that person in 14-year-old Gabrielle Giguere.
"It was an exciting process, picking the winner," he told MTV News. "Basically, we narrowed it down to 35 of the best videos, and I chose my favorites, and then we made it a top five. And from there, America voted, and Gabrielle was our winner. And I'm so pleased, and getting in the studio with her was so amazing and crafting a song to her voice was a great experience."
Jonas, who has previously written tracks for Charice and Demi Lovato, said working with the Florida native proved to be quite a fruitful experience, resulting in the catchy, electronic pop tune "My Time." Giguere not only walked away with the Jonas-produced track, but also an online music video, a contract with Jonas Group Management and $5,000 in cash.
"It's just been a really great time so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing where things go for her," he said. "It was amazing getting in the studio with her. I think she had a clear vision of what she wanted to sound like, and she really wanted to be the best it can be."
So what does Nick think of all their hard work? "In my experience, I try and work specifically with the vocalist and try and figure out how they work and get the best result," he said. "We had the time to do that, and I feel like we came up with a really great-sounding song."

Noel Gallagher 'Not Desperate At All' For Oasis Reunion
'If I need the money, I will do it,' he laughs to MTV News.

Early Thursday (November 10), before Noel Gallagher stopped by the MTV Newsroom to talk up his just-released High Flying Birds solo album, brother and former Oasis mate Liam was quoted by NME as saying that Noel was "desperate" to reunite the band.
Given the sheer amount of acrimony between the brothers since Oasis split in 2009 (with elder Gallagher citing "verbal and violent intimidation" as the main reason), this came as news to Noel, who told us he wasn't desperate to have anything to do with his former band — now and forever.
"I'll tell you what happened," he sighed. "When I first started doing interviews [for Birds], a guy — we'll refer to him as 'a French guy' — he asked me: Did I have any regrets about leaving Oasis? And I said, initially, that I did. And he said, 'Oh, what about this solo project?' and I said, 'Yeah, but it would have been great' — would have been, this is key, concentrate on this — 'would have been great if we could have worked on solo projects and maybe got back together for 2015.'
"But obviously, that's not a story, and journalists being the cunning foxes that they are, he thought to himself ... 'If I just say "could" and "would," mon dieu, I have myself a story!' " Gallagher continued. "So that goes all the way around the Internet, and then it's like this mythical reunion is going to take place. ... It isn't going to take place. Do I look desperate? No, I'm not desperate at all."
While he's primarily in the States to begin the promotional cycle for the genuinely quite excellent High Flying Birds album with a run of shows in major markets (Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco), Gallagher knows there's always going to be fans who want nothing more than a full-blown Oasis reunion — preferably in 2015, the 20th anniversary of their massive (What's the Story) Morning Glory? album. But for that to occur, Gallagher joked he's going to have to endure some rather dark times in the very near future, because desperate, he most certainly is not.
"I will say this, though: If I need the money, I will do it," he laughed. "I don't need a lot of money, though, and here's hoping I won't anytime soon. No, I'm not desperate. My sh--'s not gone down the toilet yet."
Are you one of those fans holding out for an Oasis reunion? Let us know why in the comments!

Bruno Mars Pens A Love Song In 'Breaking Dawn' Video
Mars taps his songwriting skills to win his girl back in brand-new clip for 'It Will Rain.'

After a slight delay, the video for Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain" is finally here, and the clip opens with a pivotal scene from "Breaking Dawn - Part 1."
After the opening sequence with Bella and Edward getting married in front of their friends and family, the video cuts to a love story between Mars, who recorded the track especially for the Bill Condon-directed flick, and his lovely leading lady.
Bruno and his onscreen love experience the many joys, trials and tribulations of being in a relationship. And as is often the case in real life, things starts out cute; every little moment and snuggle is more romantic than the one before. Bruno goes out of his way to court his female friend, even holding a private screening of "Breaking Dawn" to woo her. They share kisses as footage of Bella and Edward's honeymoon flashes on the wall. But at some point, the pair begin to fight, though Bruno isn't going to let her go that easily: He uses his songwriting skills to persuade her to stay with him.
The heartbreak expressed on the track is mirrored in solo shots of Bruno standing around looking sullen. As the video closes out, we see that the song Bruno wrote while his lady was asleep turned out to be romantic enough to win her back.
In the final shot, Bruno stands alone while rain hits the window behind him and sings, "Cause there'll be no sunlight if I lose you, baby/ There'll be no clear skies if I lose you, baby/ Just like the clouds, my eyes will do the same if you walk away/ Every day, it will rain, rain, rain."
The soundtrack for "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" was released this week and features tracks from Mars, Christina Perri ("A Thousand Years") and Theophilus London ("Neighbors"), to name a few

Pitbull Files Countersuit Against Lindsay Lohan
Rapper's new suit alleges lyric in his hit 'Give Me Everything' was justified, given Lohan's ongoing legal problems.

Looks like that pre-VMA olive branch has been snapped: Pitbull has filed a countersuit against Lindsay Lohan, who is suing him for defamation over a line in his smash hit "Give Me Everything."
In his new suit, Pitbull alleges that the lyric in question — "I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan" — is justified, given the actress' ongoing legal problems, and questions whether Lohan is eligible to file suit in New York (her original claim was filed in New York state court, as she claimed to be a resident of Nassau County), since she has been spending the majority of her time serving probation in California.
"In light of Ms. Lohan's continuing obligations to the State of California, as well as the foregoing facts, Ms. Lohan is a citizen of California, not New York," Pitbull's countersuit states.
Lohan first filed suit against the rapper in August, seeking an injunction to stop all broadcast of "Give Me Everything," claiming that "by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants about the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm."
The following week, in a statement on his Planet Pit website, Pitbull apologized to Lohan for any unintended harm from the "Everything" lyric, and said that he actually "supports" the actress' career.
"In no way, shape or form would I want to bring that on anybody," he said. "I didn't look to defame, degrade or hurt someone's career. For me, mentioning it on a #1 record around the world, I thought it would be helping someone's career, and keeping them relevant. We mention people's names all the time; when it comes to rapping, it's always about double meanings and metaphors and how you flip certain things."
A spokesperson for Pitbull did not respond to MTV News' request for comment on the countersuit.

Avril Lavigne has been receiving lots of love from her fans after news broke that she was hurt in a bar fight in Los Angeles in the early hours of Sunday morning. The singer is grateful for the support she's been receiving.
"Wanted to thank all of my fans, friends and family for their support over the last couple of days. Saw all ur comments and emails xo thank u," she wrote via Twitter. In a previous tweet, she said, "#ViolenceIsNeverTheAnswer."
In the aftermath of the weekend fight at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, police confirmed to E! News that Brody Jenner, who was with Lavigne at the time of the incident, has pressed charges against his attacker or attackers (according to reports, there were up to five). Jenner filed a police report for assault with a deadly weapon. He was allegedly hit with a broken bottle while out partying with Lavigne.
In a statement from his manager, Jenner also thanked his fans for the well wishes he has received since the incident. "Brody Jenner is recovering at home after being assaulted in an unprovoked attack this past Saturday night. He appreciates all the calls of support and well wishes," the statement reads, according to the Los Angeles Times. "As this is an ongoing police investigation, there will be no further statements at this time."
Although little is known about the events of the night, sources tell UsMagazine.com that the altercation took place at Beacher's Madhouse at the Roosevelt. "At first, the girl called Brody something and that set Avril off so she talked sh-- back to them," the source said, adding that Lavigne initially got into an argument with a woman.
"Brody came over aggressively and got involved," the source said. "They were scuffling on the floor. ... Brody was the aggressor and had five guys with him. When they finally got up Brody was bleeding." Another man reportedly came to the defense of the woman Lavigne was fighting.
The source added that "there was no bottle with blood and no bottle broken or anything like that [visible]."
Representatives for Lavigne had not responded to MTV News' request for comment by press time.

'Twilight' Trio Talk Sex, Compare Abs On 'MTV First'
For the return of 'Twilight' Tuesdays, we look at the greatest hits from our chat with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz

Hey, "Twilight" fans, this one's for you: MTV News is very happy to announce the return of "Twilight" Tuesdays, a weekly column dedicated to anything and everything popping in the world of Bella, Edward and Jacob.
Each week, we'll bring you something new about the films, whether it's via the stars themselves, photos, clips or, even better, something from you, the fans. The next few weeks will be almost entirely focused on the impending release of "Breaking Dawn - Part 1," but we'll hopefully break into new, exclusive, undiscovered territory very soon.
First up is a highlight reel from "MTV First: Breaking Dawn," in which Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner let loose with us for a meaty Q&A. There were so many great moments between the three young actors that we decided to put together our favorites for your viewing pleasure.
Kristen Squirms Reliving First MTV Interview
MTV was one of the only outlets allowed access on the set of "Twilight," and we snagged one of the first-ever interviews with superstars-to-be Stewart and Pattinson. Upon hearing that we were going to show Stewart a clip from this interview, in which she and Pattinson joke about what impressed her about him, she had a mini-meltdown, complete with squeals and pacing in front of her chair.
Rob and Kristen Talk Sex Scene
As we book readers well know, there's a pretty intense sex scene in "Breaking Dawn," and everyone wants to know how they shot it for the big-screen adaptation. Well, we asked about it, and Pattinson's responses will likely go down in history as some of his best quotes: "I was sitting there in a little G-string," he said of the flesh-colored undergarment he wore during the filming of the scene, which Stewart confessed she "wasn't too into" and said it required a lot of acting on her part to pretend she was hot for the young man in the "little G-string." "It was like old ham," Pattinson then added, inexplicably. Like we said, history-making comments there
Rob Scoffs At Taylor Ab Comparison
Eventually, the conversation turned to a favorite subject among "Twilight" fans: Pattinson and Lautner's abs. The question was posed to Pattinson about whether he did any prep for his half-naked scenes in "Breaking Dawn," since in the past, we've heard plenty about Lautner's disciplined workouts and dieting. While Pattinson did admit to some working out and not eating candy for a two-week stretch during filming, he was immediately distracted when he saw we had put up a side-by-side photo comparison of the two leading men. "This is so unfair doing a comparison," Pattinson protested. "Everyone says I painted on my abs in ['New Moon'] — I did not! Taylor has his painted on too!" he accused with a laugh. "What?" Lautner responded. "What are you talking about? I don't understand this."
Rob Has Borrowed Kristen's iPod?
During a round of rapid-fire Twitter questions, the gang was asked to reveal the most-played song on his or her iPod. Stewart was slow to respond, so Pattinson said he'd be happy to answer for her, which Stewart didn't seem to think he'd be able to get right. After a bit of whispering and not-so-quiet mumbling, Pattinson announced that Stewart's go-to music is anything by songbird Jenny Lewis (who, for those who don't know, is a former child star whose film classics include "Troop Beverly Hills" and "The Wizard." Add them to your Netflix queue, stat).

Justin Bieber Tourmate Weighs In On Paternity Suit
'It wouldn't even be possible for her to get backstage,' Cobra Starship's Gabe Saporta tells MTV News.
By Jocelyn Vena

Justin Bieber recently told the "Today" show that it's impossible he fathered Mariah Yeater's baby, as claimed in a headline-making paternity suit. Why? The minute he finishes a show, he promptly makes his way from the stage to an awaiting car, so there's no time for backstage trysts.
Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta, Bieber's onetime tourmate, confirmed the teen star's story.
"It wouldn't even be possible for her to get backstage," he told MTV News on the red carpet at the Glamour Women of the Year event in New York on Monday. "The security is so crazy there, you can't get backstage. And even if you got backstage, first of all, he leaves the show as soon as he's offstage, which is pretty cool. He runs offstage, gets in a car and jets, because the whole city turns into chaos."
Before the My World Tour wrapped up last month, the band experienced that craziness firsthand, likening it to something straight out of the movies. "There's a really cool video of us online getting mobbed at the airport," Saporta recalled. "It's like zombie apocalypse; it's awesome."
Speaking of awesome, 2011 has been a pretty great year for Cobra Starship. Their infectious, Sabi-featuring track "You Make Me Feel" has been burning up radio, but that Bieber tour is pretty much the highlight of the year for Saporta.
"We were playing, like, 50,000-people stadiums," Saporta said of the South American jaunt. "It was insane, and I'm from South America too, so for me, it was especially satisfying. I gotta say, for being the most famous kid in the universe, he's remarkably well-adjusted, and ... there's like 75 people traveling with him. It feels like a family, and it was really nice to be a part of that family for a bit of time."

Rihanna Confirms Jay-Z Talk That Talk Cameo

It's been a while since Jay-Z and Rihanna have collaborated, and the release of her new album Talk That Talk on November 21 seems like as good a time as any.
Norwegian production team Stargate spilled the beans that Hova will appear on Ri's next album. In an interview posted on Complex.com, Stargate member Tor Erik Hermansen described the track as a "midtempo banger with hard drums, dirty synths, and Rihanna and Jay at their best.
"We are very happy with the song, and Jay's verse is crazy — same with Rihanna's part," he told the mag.
Rihanna took to Twitter on Tuesday (November 8) to confirm that her mentor will appear on the song "Talk That Talk": "Yes sir! Jigga man is on the title track #TTT."
Rihanna and Jay have memorably collaborated in the past on her mega-hit "Umbrella" and his Blueprint 3 track "Run This Town."
The collabo news comes just days after Rihanna released the Talk That Talk track list. Fourteen songs made the final cut; 11 will be featured on the standard version, and the additional three on the deluxe version.
For those wondering just what the TTT era of Rihanna will look and sound like, her "We Found Love" video director, Melina Matsoukas, told us it will match vibe of that clip. "I think it sets up definitely the imagery for the album, and it's in line with what they're doing," she said. "So that's good, and I'm sure there's plenty more, hopefully."
What are you expecting from the next Rihanna/Jay-Z collabo? Let us know in the comments!

Batman And Bane Take Over Manhattan
We've got all your Caped Crusader news in The Weekly Rising, MTV News' new 'Dark Knight Rises' column.
By Kevin P. Sullivan
Christian Bale and Tom Hardy on the New York City set of "Dark Knight Rises"

Because we know you're as obsessed with all things Batman as we are, we're kicking off The Weekly Rising, a brand-new column that will cover everything "The Dark Knight Rises," from news roundups to rumors and analysis. Every Monday, we'll give you the lowdown on the week in Bats and prep you for the big release next July.
Spoilers are inevitable, and we'll be sure to do our best to give you the heads-up when you might need to start covering your ears and saying "Na na na na na na na na Batman!" This week, we'll fill you in on our NYC set visit from last week, give an update from filming back on Wall Street over the weekend and offer a tip on how to get your voice into "The Dark Knight Rises" (hint: It involves screaming at your computer, so make sure no one else is home).
NYC Becomes Gotham
It would have taken a lot of will power to work and live in New York City and not feel at least a small impulse to go check out what they've been filming around the city. The location shoots in Manhattan began a little over a week ago, and there has been a ton of great stuff happening. Production converted Trump Tower into the headquarters for Wayne Enterprises, making it the third form of Gotham's mystical shape-shifting skyscraper. Outside the building, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake helped a very Patrick Bateman-looking Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne through a crowd of reporters.
Spoilers ahead! We'll let you know when you can come back out.
Last weekend, things got more interesting. There was a Batwing hovering over Wall Street and, even more interesting, a large bomb-like object with a timer on it. Lots of theories got thrown around, including the popular "Bane's earthquake machine," which honestly seems too unrealistic. True believers in the earthquake-gadget theory were quick to reply, "What about the microwave emitter from 'Batman Begins,' smart guy? Huh? Is that more realistic? You think you're so smart." Our response: Anyone who has seen a workplace microwave after someone nuked a bowl of chili without covering it knows what kind of destruction microwaves can dole out.
End spoilers.
On the Scene
So after that, how could we not stake out the set? Maybe we'd catch another motorcycle chase or at least see Bale in full Batman regalia, so we headed down to the set of "Magnus Rex," the fake title of the production, at 32nd Street and Fifth Avenue to see what we could see.
Turns out, we picked the wrong day to go. Check out the embedded video from our set visit; there aren't any spoilers, because we had no idea what was going on. Not a total disappointment, but the real sadness didn't set in until Saturday, the day we didn't visit the set, and all hell broke loose.
Spoilers are back!
Batman and Bane literally fought a battle, full armies in tow, on Wall Street over the weekend — the cops with Bats and some pissed-off citizenry with Bane. Pictures and videos from the downtown war popped up everywhere, the best ones over at SuperheroHype.com, all of them mocking us. But enough about our deep, deep sadness — what the hell was going on? Most of the talk about the general arc of "Rises" points to the disintegration of Gotham's infrastructure with Bane leading point. The fight looked like a continuation from the L.A. shoot, where Batman and Bane duked it out in the snow, so we could be seeing the same sequence here. Is Bane's army just the citizens of Gotham or the long-rumored return of the League of Shadows? We say it was citizens — not shadowy enough.
End spoilers.
Make Your Voice Heard
Finally, last week, composer Hans Zimmer offered fans a unique opportunity to join in on some cult-like chanting. If you head over to UJAM, you can record your own version of the "Bah-Sah-Rah" chant from the trailer and the viral campaign that unveiled the first picture of Tom Hardy as Bane.
Speaking of which, where the hell is the viral campaign? "Why So Serious" was a major component of the lead-up to "The Dark Knight," and all we've seen so far is the Bane picture. We can't be the only ones who miss receiving clues from the Joker and waiting while more enthusiastic fans completed tasks, so we could reap the rewards of their hard work.
Now we want to hear from you: It was rumored last week that a new trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" will premiere December 16 in front of "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows," the same day the six-minute prologue appears before IMAX screenings of "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol."
What do you want to see from the trailer and prologue? Let me know on Twitter via @KPSull, and we'll discuss next week. Also, be sure to check out our new weekly discussion show, "Talk Nerdy to Me."

Conrad Murray Found Guilty In Michael Jackson's Death
Jury took nearly nine hours to return a verdict against Jackson's former doctor.
By Gil Kaufman

After nearly six weeks of testimony and several gasp-inducing courtroom moments, the jury in the involuntary manslaughter trial against former Michael Jackson doctor Conrad Murray rendered a guilty verdict Monday (November 7) after almost nine hours of deliberation.
The verdict came after 49 witnesses took the stand and the prosecution presented often-bruising testimony against Murray, a cardiologist with clinics in Texas and Las Vegas who was recruited in 2009 by Jackson to help the then-50-year-old star stay healthy in the run-up to his planned 50-date comeback tour, This Is It.
The prosecution brought a long list of medical experts and emergency-room doctors to the stand to testify that Murray had not followed proper procedure in dealing with Jackson when the singer was in distress on the morning of June 25, 2009. They also presented evidence that the care Murray provided for Jackson in the weeks and months leading up to that fateful morning were substandard or outside the bounds of legal and ethical requirements. The witnesses concluded that Murray lacked the proper monitoring equipment to administer the surgical anesthetic propofol to Jackson, an off-label use of the intravenously delivered drug that was reportedly employed to help chronic insomniac Jackson get to sleep.
Investigators found that Murray ordered nearly 4 gallons of propofol in his treatment regimen for Jackson and administered the drug inside the singer's rented home, a practice that all the prosecution experts said was unheard of. Jurors also heard testimony about how Murray left Jackson's bedroom for a period after providing him with propofol and spent his time making calls and sending texts to a former girlfriend. When he realized Jackson was in distress, Murray gave the pop star CPR on a bed, a decision that also deviated from the suggested method requiring a hard surface under the patient.
Murray was additionally faulted for waiting more than 20 minutes to call 911, not keeping proper records and failing to tell the paramedics and ER doctors that he had given Jackson propofol.
While prosecution witnesses claimed Murray acted with "gross negligence" in treating Jackson, the physician's own team of lawyers countered with a string of defense witnesses who called into question claims made by Jackson's bodyguard that he requested that staffers hide bottles of propofol before he dialed 911. Other character witnesses testified to the generous, attentive nature of Murray's medical practice, while expert defense witnesses cast doubt on the theories about Jackson's death provided by the prosecution's star witness, Dr. Steven Shafer.
Murray, who was slated to make $150,000 a month to care for Jackson, had pleaded not guilty to the single felony charge and is now facing four years in prison. But new sentencing laws in California aimed at mandatorily reducing state prison overcrowding mean that, as a nonviolent offender with no prior record, he is likely to be sentenced to county jail instead. If that is the case, his sentence could be reduced further.
He also still faces a civil lawsuit brought by MJ's father, Joseph Jackson, which seeks financial restitution. Both Joseph Jackson and Michael's mother, Katherine, were on hand to hear Monday's verdict, along with several of the singer's siblings and a throng of sign-waving fans gathered in support of both Jackson and Murray.

Much ado is made over the handsomeness of the leading men of "Twilight" — Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner — particularly when it comes to the subject of their being shirtless in any way, shape or form.
Their fervent fans know from reading Stephenie Meyer's books and seeing the first two trailers that there is plenty of shirtlessness in store for them when "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1" opens November 18.
MTV News was lucky enough to sit down with the two heartthrobs during "MTV First: Breaking Dawn" on Thursday, during which we asked a fan-submitted question about how they prep for their shirtless scenes.
"No M&M's," said Kristen Stewart, who was seated between her co-stars.
"Yeah, I didn't eat any candy and I didn't drink any beer for a while," Pattinson said of his health-conscious prep. "I went kind of nuts. Me and Kristen went nuts working out, because we hadn't worked out for any of [the previous films]," he admitted.
Then, upon noticing that his shirtless photo was being held up next to Lautner's, RPattz took offense in the comparison. "This is so unfair doing a comparison. Everyone says I painted on my abs in ['New Moon'] — I did not! Taylor has his painted on too!" he accused with a laugh.
"What?" Lautner responded. "What are you talking about? I don't understand this."
Pattinson stopped his playful ribbing of Lautner for a moment to finish answering the question about his diet before shirtless scenes are filmed.
"I had it for, like, two weeks," he said of his abs, with Stewart agreeing and adding that they gave up being healthy immediately after their skin-showing scenes were wrapped.
"As soon as I didn't have to be shirtless anymore [my good habits were] gone immediately," Pattinson continued. "During [filming in] Brazil, the day before I had to do my shirtless scene, I realized [my abs] weren't as good as Taylor's, so I just ate every bit of chocolate in the mini-bar. I started eating cheeseburgers and stuff."

MTV's 'True Life' Hits NYC's Zuccotti Park Tomorrow
Special airs Saturday at 6 p.m. ET; Also, activist Davey D gives MTV News an inside look at the fiery Occupy Oakland protests.

Bryan in "True Life: I'm Occupying Wall Street"
In the weeks since Americans fed up with the status quo hit New York's Zuccotti Park to protest issues like economic inequality and social injustice, the movement has spread around the globe. On Saturday at 6 p.m. ET, MTV's special "True Life: I'm Occupying Wall Street" will introduce viewers to a handful of the young demonstrators trying to bring about change.
But if there's another U.S. city that has taken to the spirit of the Occupy protests to the next level, it's surely Oakland, California. In downtown Oakland, about 7,000 activists turned out on Wednesday for a general strike, which led to arrests and business shutdowns; the nation's fifth largest port was even forced to close.
Activist and journalist Davey D, an associate of MTV News correspondent and Oakland native Sway Calloway, has been covering the events since they first started. He told us that Wednesday's events made a major statement.
"Shutting down the port of Oakland is a huge thing that hasn't happened in decades and hasn't happened in Oakland in over 65 years," Davey said. "It makes $8 million a day and the money goes toward the 1 percent. It's a tangible movement — each day you shut down something, it delays things."
The Occupy movements are being driven largely by young Americans at a time when the unemployment rate among youths under 25 is 18 percent compared to the national rate of 9 percent. In a recent MTV survey of young adults (ages 18 to 29), 72 percent said they were afraid they might not live up to their potential, while nearly three-quarters of people agreed with the statement, "things are unfair for my generation because we have to start our careers during this economic crisis."
MTV's special "True Life" episode follows a few supporters who fit that description, including Bryan, a high school grad from Massachusetts who doesn't see the long-term benefit of attending college when there are few jobs to had post-graduation. When viewers meet him, he's working to get Zuccotti Park clean after word comes down that the private park's owners want to temporarily evict the protestors in order to fix up the property themselves. Panic spreads as Occupiers fear the eviction will be permanent. College students Kait and Caitlin, who are so nervous about not being able to find a job that they've recruited friends into the rally, are also featured.
MTV's 'True Life: I'm Occupying Wall Street' airs November 5 at 6 p.m. ET.

Having the support of veteran rappers like Jay-Z and Rick Ross has been helpful for Wale throughout his career, but the relative newcomer hopes to one day band with hip-hop's next generation of MCs in making their own impact.
Wale hit the road with J. Cole and Big Sean a few years back, but for his dream concert run the D.C. rapper hopes to gather some of the game's newest talent to create a tour that rivals the grandiose concerts of yesteryear.
"I've been talking to a couple of artists about doing something for us and our generation," Wale revealed when he appeared on this week's "RapFix Live." "Something that feels like the Hard Knock Life Tour, something that feels like the Up in Smoke Tour from back in the day."
On the 1999 Hard Knock Life Tour, Jay-Z hit the road with DMX, Method Man, Redman, Ja Rule and his Roc-A-Fella clique. Similarly, Dr. Dre banded with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Warren G for his 2000 Up in Smoke Tour. Those historic runs have been the "Ambition" MC's inspiration.
"My dream tour would be like, me, Cole, Drake, Sean, Meek," Wale told "RFL" host Sway. "I think that would be dope, something like that; big venues."
On Tuesday Wale released his sophomore album, Ambition, with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group. Aside from his current single, "Lotus Flower Bomb," featuring R&B singer Miguel, Wale collaborates with two of his dream tourmates: Big Sean, on the Diplo-produced "Slight Work," and Meek on the LP's title track.

'It was a really cool car — in '87,' he says on latest episode, airing Saturday at 11 a.m. ET/PT on MTV.
By Henna Kathiya
"Cooler Than Me" singer Mike Posner wasn't exactly all that cool when he was 17.
He recalls driving around in his first car on this week's episode of MTV's "When I Was 17," airing Saturday at 11 a.m. ET/PT on MTV. The singer gives a shout-out to his great aunt on the episode — which also features Estelle and AnnaLynne McCord — for being gracious enough to give him her old car when he was 17.
"My Great Aunt Dorothy — hi, Aunt Dorothy! — she gifted to me her '87 Volvo," he recalled. "And it was a really cool car — in '87. The only problem was, I got it in, like, 2005."
The "Please Don't Go" singer would try to assert himself on the road but found it hard with his clown-car horn. "The great thing about this car was that it had this kind of clown horn. I would be really mad, like people would cut me off, and I'd hit my horn, and it would be like 'beep beep' and I was just like, 'Ugh.' "
We're sure Mike has updated his vehicle now to something a little cooler with a more aggressive horn to help ward off aggressive drivers.

Kim Kardashian: Will Breakup Ruin Her Image?
MTV News asked PR/celebrity experts to weigh in on whether backlash will have a lasting impact on reality star's popularity.

There's been some backlash since Kim Kardashian announced her split from husband Kris Humphries with critics arguing that she only tied the knot with the basketball player for money or publicity. It's an argument that Kim and her family, including Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, have vehemently disputed.
Given the controversy surrounding the split, which came just 72 days after Kardashian and Humphries married in a lavish ceremony in August, can Kim get back in the good graces of the public that made her famous? MTV News asked some experts in the field to weigh in.
"She's always been controversial. Her career was forged in controversy and I don't think you care about the people who are haters out there," Howard Bragman, vice chairman of Reputation.com, told MTV News. "I think you care about your fans and those few million people who watch your show and buy your product and are supporters of hers, and that's what you have to focus on 'cause we live in a society full of haters. You can't live your life for those people," he added. "You have to live knowing your own truth in your heart and I think she goes forward."
Photos: Kim & Kris' short-lived romance.
David Caplan, a former editor at People and Star magazines, seemed to be onboard with Bragman's take on the Kim debate. In fact, Caplan said, Kim's marriage trouble may have strengthened her followers' love for her.
"I think to a certain degree, overall, she's actually still in the good graces of her fans, and I say that because her fans are so loyal and I really believe that — whether or not I agree with a lot — sort of the tenor and the vibe has been a lot of sympathy towards her because she's sort of saying, 'I made a mistake, I rushed into it,' " he explained. "And that's saving her from all of this."
As Kim copes with the fallout from her decision to divorce (and fans await the November 27 premiere of the second season of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," which follows the first few months of the Kardashian/Humphries union), the larger question remains: What's next for the reality TV star?
"If you think people aren't going to watch when she starts dating somebody new, you're kidding yourself," Bragman predicted. "Of course they are; it's going to be a big event. She's going to have to put some separation between her public and her private life a little more," he continued. "She has to learn the lessons from this. She's got to take some time for herself.
Slowing down is one strategy, but Caplan believes that Kim will take another approach in the next few months. "I think, for Kim, she's going to continue working, she's going to continue running around," he said, "So it's not going to look like she's dwelling on this relationship. That's really going to help her image because she's going to be like, 'Listen, I work.' The story will follow her for a long time. People are going to be like, 'Who is she dating next? Is she ready?' The next step for her is to continue working."
