These guys may very well be the future. Or at least get props from Justin Bieber sometime soon.

For Thursday's (February 24) "RapFix Live," MTV News caught up with the guys of Los Angeles hip-hop collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All on a bus from NYC to Philadelphia shortly after their "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" performance.

"I'm this close to Justin Bieber acknowledging me," rapper Tyler, the Creator joked of their Internet fame.

While hanging out on the bus, the guys said their brand of hip-hop is so different that it makes them a bit uncomfortable to label their shows as "rap."

"We're so opposite," Tyler said. "If you go to any other rapper's show, they just stand there and rap."

Domo Genesis piped up in the background, adding, "I don't think our shows are rap shows. Even though it's rap music, they're not rap shows at all."

Tyler continued: "Rap is really just too conventional. Everybody does the same thing. No one ever pushes the box. And then when you get people pushing the line too far, people are like, 'What the f--- is this?' And then it's like ... 'This is tight, it's new.' We're doing something that no one has ever done before."

The bandmembers also talked up their fans' energy. "You know how many [middle] fingers we get at our shows? That means something to them," Tyler said.

And as for the future? The guys are hoping it looks bright.

"I want Grammys. I want to perform at the Super Bowl," Tyler said. "I want to be a ... icon. Kanye West went like this. I want to be on his level. I want 100 years from now to look at the history books and they see ... us on some icon type sh--."

Do you think Odd Future will make the hip-hop history books? Let us know in the comments!
